For shepherds

You do not have to carry ministry alone.

Confidential, biblically grounded care for pastors navigating pressure, discouragement, conflict, transition, and the unseen weight of serving others.

Known beyond the role

A trusted place to tell the truth about ministry and your own soul.

Pastors regularly carry the pain, expectations, conflict, and spiritual needs of others. Yet many have few places where they can speak honestly without protecting a title, managing perceptions, or worrying about vocational consequences.

Pastor Care offers room to slow down, name what is happening, tend to your relationship with God, and discern faithful next steps. Care is shaped by Scripture, pastoral experience, wise boundaries, and respect for the complexity of church leadership.

Care for the season you are carrying

Support before, through, and beyond the crisis.

01

Burnout and exhaustion

Notice patterns of depletion, rebuild sustainable rhythms, and address the spiritual, emotional, relational, and physical weight beneath chronic fatigue.

02

Conflict and criticism

Process congregational pressure, difficult relationships, board conflict, betrayal, public criticism, and the isolation that often accompanies leadership.

03

Transitions and dismissal

Receive steady care through resignation, layoffs, forced transitions, termination, succession, interim seasons, relocation, and vocational uncertainty.

04

Spiritual dryness

Attend to discouragement, numbness, shame, doubt, lost joy, and the distance that can grow between public ministry and private life with God.

05

Marriage and family strain

Address the ways ministry pressure, availability, expectations, relocation, and church conflict affect spouses, children, and life at home.

06

Sabbatical and re-entry

Plan a purposeful sabbatical, establish restorative rhythms, clarify expectations, and return to ministry with greater wisdom and health.

What care may include

Personal, pastoral, and practical support.

Every pastor and season is different. We begin by listening and determining what kind of care, cadence, and referral pathway fits your circumstances.

01

Listen and understand

Tell the story of what you are carrying in a confidential setting without pressure to perform, defend, or solve everything immediately.

02

Discern what is needed

Identify the central concerns, warning signs, resources, relationships, boundaries, and decisions requiring careful attention.

03

Take faithful next steps

Develop a realistic path involving spiritual care, practical changes, restoration, coaching, counseling, medical care, or specialized referral when appropriate.

Responsible pastoral care

Clear limits protect trust and support better care.

Pastor Care is biblically grounded pastoral support and is not emergency intervention, medical treatment, legal advice, or a substitute for licensed clinical care when that level of service is needed.

If you may harm yourself or someone else, call emergency services now. In the United States, call or text 988. Outside the U.S., contact your local emergency or crisis service.

Begin confidentially

You are more than the role you carry.
